It's Supposed to be a Windy, Wild, Wonderful Wednesday!

Greetings, friends!
The weatherman says to watch out for windy conditions today so I suppose I should probably make sure everything is secure on my deck and porch before heading out for the day.

It's another installment of Wild & Wonderful Wednesday- a linky party that I'm hosting each week to celebrate the wild and wonderful goings-on in our little corners of the world. It's been a little slow-going but I'm sticking with it! :) The linky is open until next Tuesday so just link up when you can!

My Wild:
It was 10 kids of fantastic to get away with my Hubster this past weekend.
We trekked over to Columbus to see friends, visit an Art Festival, and hit up our FAVORITE ice-cream wonderland, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams.
I think Jeni is a genius!
The flavor combinations she creates are nothing short of amazing.
Now she puts a little bit of the creativity into OUR hands and provides the opportunity to pick your ice creams & toppings to create a customized gravel sundae.
Seriously, watch the video below and prepare to drool...

Check out those flavors! Yum!

My sundae had bananas & honey and double-toasted coconut ice creams, salty caramel sauce and shagbark gravel. Basically it's like a sweet, crunchy, Frito-like topping.
Think it sounds weird?
Please. Don't knock it til' you've tried it.
Amazeballs.
Add some smoked almonds, hand-whipped cream, a waffle wedge and an Amarena cherry and you've got yourself something ridiculously delicious!

And what's wonderful?

I borderline stalked the Fed Ex man today until this pretty thing arrived at my doorstep.
Then, of course, I'm all like "Oh, no big deal. It's here. I'll finish doing whatever I'm doing and THEN open it." Then I dove in. Of course.
Yes, I'm amped about a lesson planner.
SO jazzed, in fact, that I'm going to blog FURTHER on the subject later this week.
Yes, it's possible that I need a little more excitement in my life.
Could it also be that maybe it's just a SUPERFLY planner!?!
That gets my vote!
After ordering (and still faithfully using) her Life Planner in the spring, I'm officially an Erin Condren convert. Her design, attention to detail, and FUN attitude are SO my style!
Her motto is: Celebrate someone or something every day!
Words to live by.
Just looking at my new planner makes me excited for school.
Well, excited for school in August, which is a loooooong way away.
At least it feels like it today.

Well, that's it for my Wednesday. Link up below and share yours!
